Newry and Mourne MS Community Therapy Centre Ltd. was set up by, and for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis in 1987. Our therapy centre was officially opened in February 1990.
The Newry and Mourne MS Community Therapy Centre Ltd. is one of three centres in Northern Ireland, each with their own autonomy, but with the same aims and objectives, which is to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and other medical conditions for which HBO Therapy would be beneficial.
Over the past two decades, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has become more widely used, and we have, on request extended the use of our facility to those with fractures and sports injuries, and a wider group of people suffering from other debilitating health conditions.

General guidance, especially on treatment protocols and the likelihood of benefit is obtained from the Coordinator of the Oxygen Helpline, Petra Kliempt BSc MPH PhD, who is Honorary NHS Specialist Trainer in Hyperbaric Medicine. The Oxygen Helpline and MS National Therapy Centres are also assisted by the Hon. Medical Adviser Emeritus Professor Philip B. James, MB, ChB, PhD, DIH, FFOM.
We are based in Carnbane Industrial Estate, Newry, Co. Down.
